“ First time, definitely won't be the last. Gringo Taco (Shredded Beef) was bomb, Birria Taco was bomb, and the Al Pastor Taco had excellent flavor, and bomb!! Combination plate came with rice and beans, and was good too. Next time, I'd rather just get another taco and pass on the rice and beans. A little bit pricey, but worth every penny!! ”
“ The customer service were amazing, the guy with the braids was so nice and made sure we had everything we needed the food was a 7/10 but all in all we had a good spot to eat at with amazing energy ”
“ Amazing and most importantly super consistent!! Top picks for me: gringa taco, lengua taco, and asada taco. Easily the best chips and guac in LA in my opinion. These are the tastiest chips!!!!!! Oh also ask for chipotle crema on the side. It is extra but makes any taco even better. ”
“ Well this quiet and quaint place has hit the core of my heart These tacos were delicious along with the beans and rice..... I will say if you don't like your chips crispy you like I do then you should the tacos by themselves!!! Aside that it was great visit the gentleman assisting us was very nice and guided us through our order experience as it was our first time! I'll be back until then thank you so much ”
“ Stopped by for a quick taco. The asada taco was great and filling. Expensive for a taco, but would love to try the others as well. Quick and easy service. We were the only ones there on a Saturday. Parking in their lot next door. ”
“ Best carnitas i've ever had!!! I was so extremely impressed with their meat quality & the tacos were just delectable. Highly recommend :) ”
“ Pinches was a great and unexpected find. The food was delicious and the employees were amazing. When we went up to order at the counter the guy working gave us some incredible recommendations with the gringo tacos and the potato tacos. He was super friendly and accommodating. The tacos themselves were delicious, while not necessarily the prettiest, the taste was so good. They made their own crunchy shells and stuffed them with tender meat with a delicious sauce and topped them with veggies. The place had a small, casual, and food focused feel. You order at a counter and then sit down at these picnic tables off to the side where your food is delivered. This is a place where you can have a quick meal or stay and talk for a long time. I'm so happy I came here and can't wait to go back! ”
“ I placed an order on Uber Eats, and the food was thankfully still warm when it arrived. The packaging of the tacos could use some work. The chicken mole tacos were flavorful without being overly spicy, which I appreciated. The refried beans were extremely delicious, but the Spanish rice that I was so looking forward to was BLAND, BLAND, BLAND! To me, the price point sits above what the food is worth. For what's being charged, EVERYTHING should be good. I'd go in person to see if the experience is better, though. Some food just doesn't travel well. ”
“ I was here (twice!) on my last trip to LA. My friends and I ordered at the counter and sat outside. I only ordered Chilaquiles (I couldn't try something else after trying them), but I think these might be the best Chilaquiles I've ever had (including Mexico City!). The chips were crunchy, but still soaked in the liquid. They use chopped up onion, cilantro and egg in the sauce as well. These had SO much flavor, the chips are perfectly crispy and everything was just perfect. My friend got huevos rancheros which came with 3 eggs on homemade tortillas (amazing) and was a great value for the portion. Each meal was $13-14, which I thought was extremely fair for the quality of ingredients and portion size. I'm surprised by the reviews saying this place is overpriced. It's definitely going to be a staple for me when I'm in LA! ”
“ Solid!! After eating several "meh" tacos over the past month or so (how does that even happen here in L.A.???), Boyfriend and I hit up Pinche's for lunch recently. It's a small casual place with a fun vibe and not too pricey, exactly what we were looking for. We each got a 3-taco combination plate - a fish, a shrimp and a chicken taco for me; and a carnitas, Al Pastor and chicken for him. All were tasty and authentic, served with chips, rice and refried beans. It was the perfect amount of food for us without being overwhelming. Que rica!! We will definitely put Pinches on repeat!! ”
